Local
Local moving across Dallas–Fort Worth.
Local moving across Dallas, Fort Worth and the cities between them. The same crews, materials and standards we bring to a 2,000 mile interstate move, applied to a move across the Metroplex.
What you get
- Trained crews who work the Metroplex daily
- Furniture wrapped and floors protected as standard
- Reusable materials instead of disposable cardboard where possible
- Hourly rates with a stated minimum, quoted in writing
What a Metroplex move involves
A local move is a one day operation, and the variables that matter are the ones you see on the day: how much has to be disassembled, whether the elevator is booked, how far the truck can park from the door. We survey the address and confirm all three before quoting.
Furniture protection as standard
Everything is wrapped in moving blankets rather than disposable cardboard where it can be. Beds, sofas, tables and appliances arrive wrapped and stay wrapped until they are inside, and floors and door frames are protected before the first box moves.
How local pricing works
Local moving is billed hourly with a stated minimum and a written estimate. Your estimate shows the crew size, the truck, the expected hours and the travel time between addresses, so you can see exactly what the day should cost.
Local Moving questions.
Where do you move locally?
Dallas, Fort Worth and the surrounding Metroplex cities, including Plano, Frisco, Arlington, Irving, Denton and McKinney.
Can you do a same-day local move?
Yes. We can pack, load, drive and unload in one day for most homes, and we quote hourly with a stated minimum.
Is local moving a smaller service for you?
Long distance is our specialty, but local moving is a core service and runs to the same standard: reusable materials, wrapped furniture and a crew that protects the home.
