Moving out of DFW? We have driven that road since 2007.
Green Van Lines is a long-distance moving company based in Dallas–Fort Worth. Texas is where we start, not where we stop. Los Angeles, Denver, Phoenix, Miami, New York: we run the lane, and we have run it green since 2007.

The specialty
Long distance is not local moving with a longer drive.
It is a different operation: a driver who owns the lane, load planning that survives 1,400 miles of highway, and a delivery window we can actually hit. That is the work we have done since 2007.
- Texas origin, not a franchise broker network
- Direct lanes to twelve states and counting
- Eco-first fleet, packing and load planning
- One coordinator from survey to delivery

Since 2007
The first eco-friendly moving company in the United States.
Green Van Lines was founded in Dallas in 2007 and built around a simple idea: a moving company should not leave the country worse than it found it. That is still the operating system, not a badge.

How it runs
Four steps, no surprises.
01
Tell us the lane
Origin, destination, dates and a rough inventory. Five minutes on the phone or the quote form is enough to start.
02
Survey
An in-home or virtual survey so the estimate is built on your actual belongings, not a guess.
03
Written estimate
A clear, itemised estimate with your pickup window and delivery spread confirmed in writing.
04
Load, drive, deliver
One crew loads, one driver owns the lane, and you get a call before the truck turns onto your street.
Questions
Asked before every move.
Do you only move people out of Texas?
Long distance is the core of our business, and Dallas–Fort Worth is our origin. Almost every move we run starts in the Metroplex and ends in another state. If you are moving into DFW or within it, we can still help through our local and inbound teams.
How long does a long-distance move take?
It depends on the lane. Short lanes such as Dallas to Nashville run 3 to 4 days door to door, while Dallas to Seattle runs 6 to 9. Every route page lists the transit window we work to, and your estimate confirms it in writing.
What does an eco-friendly move actually mean here?
It means fuel-efficient routing and driving practices, recycled and reusable packing materials, blanket and crate reuse instead of disposable cardboard, and consolidated loads so two households are not putting two trucks on the same interstate.
How is the price of a long-distance move set?
Weight, distance, access at both ends, the date you need, and how much packing and crating you want us to handle. You get a written estimate before anything is loaded, and the route pages explain what moves the number on your specific lane.
